Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with InboxValid, operated by Tvaram Private Limited. It is part of our Terms of Service, and breaking it can lead to suspension or termination of your account.

1. Lawful data only

You may only submit email addresses that you have a lawful basis to process, for example data collected with consent or under another valid ground. You must comply with all applicable laws, including data protection laws (such as India's DPDP Act and, where relevant, the GDPR) and anti-spam laws. You are responsible for the data you upload and the way you use the results.

2. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

  • Send, or build lists for, unsolicited bulk or spam email;
  • Harass, defraud, phish, impersonate or harm any person or organisation;
  • Verify addresses obtained illegally, scraped without a lawful basis, or purchased from unlawful sources;
  • Violate the anti-spam, marketing-consent or privacy rights of the people whose addresses you submit;
  • Circumvent credit limits, rate limits or security controls, or probe, scan or attack the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted in writing;
  • Reverse engineer, copy or create a competing service from the Service;
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, obscene or otherwise objectionable;
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage our reputation with mail providers or cause our sending infrastructure to be blocklisted.

3. Fair use & rate limits

We apply reasonable rate limits and volume controls to protect the platform and the mail servers we interact with. You must not attempt to bypass them. We may adjust limits, queue or throttle jobs, and contact you about unusually high or abusive usage.

4. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may warn you, throttle or suspend your account, remove data, or terminate your access, with or without notice depending on the severity. Where required, we will cooperate with law enforcement. Nothing in this AUP limits our other rights under the Terms of Service.
